Key Features:

Desktop Policy Manager simplifies Windows desktop configuration management using Group Policy technology

  • Web-based interface for quicker configurations—no proprietary client agents to install!
  • Approval-based workflow creates a “firewall” to prevent costly configuration mistakes
  • Uses native Group Policy technology to ensure future compatibility
  • Simplified targeting of users and computers with “SmartApply”
  • Create customized “profiles” of configuration for computers and users.
Includes computer and user templates for desktop lockdown, application restrictions, security configuration, drive and printer mappings, group membership control, power management, system services security and more.
  • Full support for additional policies via PowerShell

Benefits:

Desktop Policy Manager (DPM) secures and configures systems accurately, with less effort and more confidence, using existing Windows technology to ensure future compatibility!

For IT Administrators who are concerned about desktop security but don’t have time to learn the tools, DPM provides a way to secure and configure systems accurately every time without having to learn or install new technology. To guarantee future compatibility, DPM does not use proprietary agents or scripts.

Desktop Policy Manager provides an intuitive web interface for managing desktop configuration using Group Policy. You never have to see the GP Editor—never have to think about where to link a GPO or what permissions to apply. Just select the policy templates to include (e.g. drive mappings, application restrictions, IE security, etc.) and the computers or users to target, and DPM does the rest!
